About Us http://www.LaneFieldDevelopmentWatch.info is a website sponsored by UNITE HERE Local 30, which represents 4,500 employees who work at hotels and resorts in the San Diego region, including five properties that are Port of San Diego lessees. We established this site to offer information to potential investors and the public regarding the Lane Field project. We believe that investors, public bodies, and workers have a shared interest in labor peace and full disclosure of information concerning development projects on public land. Local 30 is an affiliate of and works closely with the UNITE HERE International Union, as San Diego is a key market for hotels.
